Snow White/Mary Margaret Blanchard & Prince Charming/David Nolan, “Once Upon A Time”
Disney's Snow White and her Prince Charming definitely had drama before their happy ever after, but not nearly as much as in “Once Upon A Time”’s version! Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, respectively, portray this unfortunate couple. Together, they face an Evil Queen/Mayor (played by the stunning Lana Parrilla), a memory loss curse, giving up their infant child, and a handful of other tragedies that force them apart. Still, they continue to find each other in the end (until something else happens that separates them…again). Though they were recently reunited in the town of Storybrooke, the couple already has another dilemma to handle – keeping their magical origins a secret from outsiders. Can’t the two ever just catch a break?

Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold & Belle, “Once Upon A Time”
Because if one unfortunate coupling isn’t already enough, “Once Upon A Time” has produced another tragic relationship between Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle), the “Village Coward” turned heartless beast, and Belle (the beauty to his beast, naturally). This couple has some serious issues. Belle was believed to be killed at the hands of the Evil Queen, until she was later revealed to be a prisoner. They briefly reunited, until (You guessed it!) another scandal broke out. The last we saw of this considerably adorable pair, Belle (Emilie de Raven) had lost her memory and no longer recognized Rumplestiltskin as anything other than a huge creep (Which he is… but that’s besides the point). Everyone is rooting for these two to overcome all their obstacles, now we’re just waiting for the show’s writers to do the same.

Spencer Hastings & Toby Cavanaugh, “Pretty Little Liars”
YES, Toby’s A. Yes, he’s part of a team that terrorizes the group of girls, including his girlfriend Spencer (Troian Bellisario). Yes, he may have murdered his girlfriend’s best friend (Or was she…?). HOWEVER, they were perfect together. Downright adorable. One of the cutest couples in “Pretty Little Liars.” It just isn’t fair that the two could end with Spencer being devastated over Toby’s (Keegan Allen) true character like this. Yes, she asked him for an explanation and he could not provide one. But what if he’s being blackmailed? What if he refuses the mysterious “Lady in the Red Coat,” and she kills Spencer? The hopeful, voice in in the back of our minds begs for a reason behind the madness. We need reassurance via Toby, who was conveniently MIA in last week’s episode. Surely there will be an explanation that clarifies everything in a comforting way, for all of our sakes…right?

Marnie Michaels & Charlie Dattolo, “Girls”
This on-again/off-again couple in “Girls” was constantly in turbulence during season one, but they sure were cute together! Marnie (played by Allison Williams) was uncertain about her feelings towards Charlie (Christopher Abbott) when she has him, yet struggled immensely when he left her. After learning about his new girlfriend Audrey (which only took him a couple weeks to start dating after the breakup), she was rightfully devastated. Maybe it’s not so much that she found him clingy and boring, but more so that Marnie found Charlie to be too much of a routine and she craves spontaneity. If this couple could work through their differences and stop being so comfortable around each other, this could go back to working for them. Marnie’s attachment to Charlie after he leaves her is proof enough that she cares about him, despite her breaking up with him later (spiteful girls tend to do bad things). It’s worth giving a chance.
