Curtis Kulig- is it just me, or does even his name scream avant-garde? New York City graphic artist, photographer, and illustrator, Kulig is making quite a splash with his signature mark, the Love Me tag.

What is it, exactly? Part of the mystique is that no one really knows, but, at its core, it’s a raw, emotional plea that every human being can relate to.

And through passionate dedication and hard work, Kulig has turned it into a worldwide brand. Hip, cool and edgy, it’s popping up in major cities all across the globe, from (most prominently) his home city on the East Coast to the streets of Istanbul, Tokyo or Paris. The phrase is plastered all over stickers, posters, rooftops and buildings.

It has led to hundreds of shows and a variety of collaborations, with everyone from Smashbox Cosmetics to Nike to Vans.

His latest capsule collection for Urban Outfitters will be showcased at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood, where Kulig will curate a Love Me pop-up and polaroid show.  The event will run from February 1 through the 15th. Love Me fanatics, look forward to coverage of this Friday night’s opening party, which will feature a live performance by indie star Sky Ferreira.
