Five people are dead in Egypt after riots broke out on the two-year anniversary of the unrest that eventually took Hosni Mubarak out of power.

Reuters reported those killed were shot in Suez, though uprisings spread across the nation. Roughly 235 people were injured, civilians and security personnel alike.

Friday's rioting came in reaction to President Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood who opponents say betrayed the goal of 2011's revolution.

One of the Muslim Brotherhood's party offices was burned in an act of arson, as were at least two state-owned buildings — considered signs of the government.

According to Reuters: "Our revolution is continuing. We reject the domination of any party over this state. We say no to the Brotherhood state," said Hamdeen Sabahy, a popular leftist leader.
