Since the beginning of 2013, ABC has aired two episodes of "Revenge". For anyone who's behind on this guilty TV pleasure, the following recap should get you back on track.

At the end of 2012, "Revenge" entered winter hiatus on the heels of "Revelations", the episode in which Ashley and Daniel broke up and Carl was christened.

The first two episodes of 2013 have exposed more about the Initiative, the Ryan brothers and ushered in Daniel as the new CEO of Grayson Global!

"Power"

The episode begins with Emily and Aiden practicing their karate skills and making out. It's a steamy moment for a relationship that is about to change. In order for Emily to seem single and available again, Emily and Aiden fake a break-up in a public setting where Daniel and his father are

having lunch. Daniel falls for it and seems instantly excited.

Helen from the Initiative is keeping close tabs on Daniel now that he is head of Grayson Global. She seems to pop up at every turn.

Victoria is plotting to get Emily and Daniel closer together, which works out for Emily because she has her mind set on taking down the judge who screwed over her father. Fortunately for Em, Judge Barnes and his wife stay the weekend with the Grayson's and Emily is invited to dinner where she can pick at Judge Barnes and plot her revenge.

Declan is onto the creepy Ryan brothers and discovers they are hiding drugs in the back room of The Stowaway. Jack calls an old pal in the police department and gets him to agree to raid The Stowaway. Unfortunately for Jack and Declan, the Ryan brothers are one step ahead of them. They remove the drugs from the bar so that the cop's initial sting turns up nothing. When the cops head to the boat slips, we learn that the Ryan brothers planted the drugs in Jack's boat, "The Amanda" which frames the Porter brothers as the crooks! Being the good big brother he is, Jack takes the blame to protect Declan and ends up in jail.

Nolan agrees to help his boss Daniel hack into the Grayson Global computer system and look for rogue files. He also agrees to help Aiden stay abreast of any information on Helen - it seems Aiden has a sudden interest in Helen which feels increasingly dangerous. He meets with her in an abandoned garage and she reveals that his sister Colleen is still alive! Helen suggests that the only way Aiden will see Colleen again is to play by her rules.

Another character sniffing around Nolan is Marco. He tries to play nice with Nolan, who is having none of it.

In a dramatic scene at a benefit for Judge Barnes' wife Patricia's charity organization, Emily convinces Patricia to come clean about what really happened in the trial of David Clarke. On stage Patricia admits that the jury in the David Clarke trial was tainted. She removes her jacket to reveal extensive bruises on her body, showing the audience that her husband is not only a liar but an abusive man. With that public demonstration, Judge Barnes' career is over, and Emily's mission is accomplished.

The episode ends with Daniel arriving on Emily's doorstep to ask if she will chair the philanthropic foundation of Grayson Global. She takes his hand and says, "Daniel, I don''t need to think about it. My answer is yes." He leans in to give her a passionate kiss, which she reciprocates. In the shadows, Aiden is watching the kiss with an unhappy glare.

"Sabotage"

Amanda visits her baby daddy in jail (ABC)

Aiden is sore over Emily's kiss with Daniel. She tells him it didn't mean anything and tells him he needs to trust her and not disappear when things get difficult. Aiden confides in Emily that Helen Crowley and the Initiative contacted him about Colleen. Emily asks Aiden if Helen gave him any proof of that (she didn't) and warns Aiden that the Initiative will do anything to manipulate him.

Poor Amanda. She's beyond upset visiting Jack in jail, and who wouldn't be? Jack is in jail for intent to sell drugs and possession of a weapon. In old-school juvenile hall style, Amanda secures a gun on the street and attempts to take matters with the Ryan brothers into her own hands. She corners Nate Ryan (the dark-haired sleazier brother) in the stockroom with the gun drawn, just as Ashley bursts in stating that Jack has been released from prison. Conrad posted bail for him at Ashley's encouragement.

Conrad continues to mention his interest in running for political office. Um, seriously? That seems like a bit of a stretch, but I guess anything for the Graysons! And when did Ashley get back on the scene? Is Emily somehow behind this? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Daniel asks Nolan questions about hidden assets in Nolcorp. Nolan suspects that Marco is to blame and confronts him about it to which Marco wholeheartedly pledges his allegiance to Nolan and denies any wrongdoing.

Emily holds a charity wine auction in Manhattan which becomes the scene of many dramatic twists and turns in the plot. Victoria invites Jason Prosser, Conrad's longtime rival in finance as her date and encourages him to get in a bidding war with Daniel over a bottle of wine. Daniel ends up winning the bottle for a cool $1 million price tag. Helen arrives and exchanges words with Aiden about his sister. Helen is trying to get Daniel to acquire a company called Stonehaven United. Victoria knows this company is a sketchy disaster-oriented firm (ala Flight 97) and does not want Daniel involved. She "accidentally" mentions the possible acquisition to Jason Prosser, who in turn makes efforts to trump Daniel and acquire the company himself. Problem solved.

Helen and Aiden get into an elevator alone and before they know it, the elevator stops, the phone goes dead and a smoke is piped in and fills the elevator car. When they wake up they are blindfolded and bound in chairs in an empty warehouse. A masked person with a loaded gun speaks through a voice synthesizer asking questions about their interest in Stonehaven United and why Helen was spying on Daniel Grayson. The masked person hits Aiden in the face and after a scuffle he steals the weapon, shoots the masked person, unties Helen and helps her escape just as another masked person runs shooting out of the shadows. Aiden and Helen escape. Once the masked person peels back the disguise we learn that person is Nolan, and the person on the ground is Emily! She was wearing protective gear under her clothes and wasn't truly hurt. She and Nolan planned the scenario so that Helen would begin to fully trust Aiden. So sneaky!!

Back at NolCorp, Nolan arrives to meet Padma and finds Marco working late. He picks a fight with Marco due to something Padma said which made Marco seem like he's in cahoots with Daniel. Nolan falls for Padma's trap and tells Marco to get the hell out. Moments later, Padma leaves NolCorp and places a call…to Helen from the Initiative!! I knew she was bad news!

Aiden arrives to Emily's beach house to pick up his things from the "break up". He is playing along with the ruse in order to help Emily fool Daniel and get him closer to Emily, but on some level it is quite clear he is jealous and doesn't like it at all. Will his jealousy get the best of him?

Check out a sneak peek of next week's episode of "Revenge" below. In the promo we hear Helen telling someone to kill Victoria!
