North Korea Threatens To Launch Nuclear Tests

North Korea announced Thursday that it will carry out a new nuclear testing program to target the United States, "the sworn enemy of the Korean people." In response, the United States added more sanctions against bank officials and businesses linked to North Korea's nuclear weapons program.

North Korea threatened satellite and long-range rocket launches and a nuclear test. It said the actions were part of an "all-out action" against the United States due to its belief in the United States' key role in tightened international sanctions against North Korea.
