Lady Gaga is a big fan of her work and wears her dresses to multiple events. The designer is mostly known for her artistic fashion, but Iris van Herpen just previewed her first ready-to-wear line at her couture show. Even so, the full 12-outfit collection, called Phy-Tha-Go-Rash, won't be launched until Paris Fashion Week in March.

Van Herpen usually collaborates with other artists or scientists to create her artistic collections with diversified shapes, structure and material. But this new RTW line is more simplified.

"I will reinterpret some of the technical fabrics and shapes that I used to work on for my haute couture collections, but I will simplify them. My ready-to-wear will be much more about detailing and I will also focus on knitwear, something I didn't do before," Van Herpen told Vogue.

According to Vogue, at Van Herpen's show, she unveiled a piece from her new line herself. She wore "a tightly fitted black dress, featuring multiple lacings and eyelets." The new line is expected to have elements of her haute couture collections but transformed to a more wearable way. On her website, the RTW line is the only category under "Womenswear." She previews a few of the pieces on the website, like a white leather jacket, a little black dress with a twist, and a white dress with sleeves that features a taste of her haute couture line with geometric shapes bordering the dress at specific places. But until March, that's all the preview fashionistas get.
