On Feb. 5, IHOP is celebrating “National Pancake Day” by giving away free short stacks of its famous Buttermilk Pancakes. IHOP first started celebrating “National Pancake Day” in 2006 with its free short stack giveaways

In exchange for the free short stacks, IHOP encourages customers to donate to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or to other organizations and charities. Since it started its “National Pancake Day” celebration, IHOP has since raised more than $10 million to support different charities in communities of its various locations.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has partnered with IHOP every year for “National Pancake Day,” and this year, IHOP is hoping to raise $3 million in donations for the organization. To garner awareness about “National Pancake Day,” IHOP restaurants will be selling Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals balloons to customers, as well as gathering additional donations for the organization. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was founded in 1983 and is dedicated to helping children in specific communities by raising funds for children’s hospitals in those regions. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is currently celebrating its 30th Anniversary and has raised more than $4 billion since its inception.

IHOP’s offer is for dine-in only at participating restaurant locations, and short stacks are limited to one stack per guest. Find your closest IHOP restaurant to see if it will be offering the free short stack deal.
