Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appears to be recovering smoothly from her blood clot, the State Department said Wednesday.

The Huffington Post reported Clinton had been working from bed at New York Presbyterian, going over paperwork with staff while doctors continue to monitor her condition and treat her with blood thinners.

State Dept. spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters, "She's been quite active on the phone with all of us."

Doctors expect Clinton to make a full recovery, with no neurological damage.
