Not gonna lie, this news made this writer both extremely happy and sad. “Mad Men’s” 6th season will be another two-hour special (happy!), but won’t premiere until April 7th (sad). Hey, remember when this show aired during the summer… though one supposes we should be grateful that it’s even airing at all. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Ah yes, because what the world needs more of is a) reality shows and b) closer scrutiny of the historically deeply private relationships between medical practitioners and their patients. That’s right: Bravo’s launching a new reality show, entitled “LA Shrinks,” which will center on… wait for it… (Bravo)

Prog rock fans, grab a tissue: The Mars Volta is officially no more. But don’t be too sad; Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is releasing new music with the group Bosnian Rainbows. (NME)

Ah, it really is that time of the year again, as networks drop and pick up shows as part of their mid-season replacement scheduling. One of Fox’s casualties appears to be “Ben and Kate,” whose time slot is being replaced with “Raising Hope.” (Vulture)

Evan Rachel Wood is expecting a baby with husband Jamie Bell. The actress is noticeably showing as she makes the Sundance rounds with “The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman” co-star Shia LaBeouf. (People)
