Thursday’s season finale was for lack of a better word... Scandalous! We are finally getting the full picture of the assassination attempt on President Fitz. It turns out Huck did not shoot the president; he was set up by his girlfriend Becky. Huck’s girlfriend comes clean to him about the set up, and urges him to run away with her. It seems that he intended to do so... until Olivia Pope had a talk with him. After that he decided to turn her in, Becky finds out about Huck’s intention and she goes off. She kills a family just to make a point to Huck (pretty brutal right?).

In other news, Cyrus, the president’s right hand man, finds out about his husband's little side project with David Rosen. He realizes that he is very close to uncovering the truth about how the president was elected. In an attempt to divert his husband's attention Cyrus adopts a baby girl, something that his husband always wanted. Though this does not do the trick, his husband is a lot smarter than Cyrus gives him credit for. He sneaks off one last time and gives David Rosen crucial evidence that shows the rigging of the election.

But wait there is more! The President is still in the hospital, making the former vice president the current president. While she is in charge she intends to make a splash! Her plan is to force a Supreme Court judge to retire, so she could put someone in that agrees with her political ideology. Right before the judge offers up her letter of resignation she offers the former VP a deal. If she lets the Judge keep her seat, she will give her the man who shot the President. The VP decided that getting the man that was believed to have shot the president was more important than petty political fighting. So the agents find Huck and hold him under arrest under the Patriot Act. So much has happened this season on "Scandal", the January premiere is sure to be amazing! Until next time - adios!
