Police arrested a suspect linked to the death of a man who was pushed onto a subway track in New York City before a train struck him, the Associated Press reported.

Naeem Davis, 30, was taken into custody on Tuesday and booked on a murder charge. Police said Davis made statements implicating himself in the death of Ki-Suck Han, who was photographed with his head turned toward the train while trying to climb off the tracks moments before he was crushed.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg, commenting on the incident, said it appeared the suspect had "a psychiatric problem."
