Riot police fired tear gas into a crowd of more than 50 Islamic protesters denouncing Kim Kardashian's visit to Bahrain, according to Sky News.

Her visit caused anger among Islamist legislators earlier in the week as well. The politicians referred to as "an actress with an extremely bad reputation," according to the Gulf Daily News.

The reality star was in the country to launch a branch of Millions of Milkshakes.

Near the shopping center Kardashian was visiting protesters chanted "God is great." One even held a sign referring to her as a porn star, according to USA Today.

They were cleared before she arrived.
