The remains of Yasser Arafat will be exhumed Tuesday to determine if the former Palestinian leader was poisoned. The investigation into his death began earlier this year when traces of a radioactive substance was discovered on his clothing.

His bones will be examined by Swiss, French and Russian experts, who will determine whether Arafat ingested unsupported polonium-210. Since polomium-210 degrades quickly, the scientists must begin work immediately if they are to find the evidence.

Palestinians claim that Israel was responsible for Arafat's death, while Israel has continued to deny it.
