Ohio, the most important state in the electoral college, faces a bit of voting controversy on Election Day with a lawsuit that alleges that the state's electronic voting systems are using untested, non-state certified software, according to CBS News.

The suit was filed by Robert Fitrakis, an Ohio congressional candidate for the Green Party.  He says that the software could manipulate vote counts or allow third parties to change results.

Whether this will affect Election Day remains to be seen, but this campaign has been characterized by some unorthodox voting methods.  The phenomenon of early voting championed by the Obama campaign was practiced more heavily by Obama voters.  Obama himself voted early in person.

The Supreme Court sided with Obama
in a case that allowed early voting to start over the weekend in Ohio for all voters, not just for members of the military and overseas residents.

In Florida, early voters faced horrible lines.

After Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy
, people on the east coast are looking for a way to help affected people vote.  In New Jersey, voters are wrestling with email and fax voting systems.
