Voters are facing long lines in states all over the country, especially on the East Coast and in Florida.  According to the Washington Post, lines in important states like Virginia made many people late for work.

"At 8 a.m., in Arlington, Va., 644 people were lined up outside an apartment building polling station, almost all of them late for work," the Post quoted.

Hampton Roads described the scene at a Virginia high school.

In New Hampshire, voters couldn't find parking and at 10:30 a.m. there were about 350 people in line. 

The Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel reported that long lines and broken machines made for a difficult morning in the important swing state.  "People could place their ballots in a bin beside the machine to be fed into it once it was fixed.  Some voters did not want to do that, however, and chose towait and witness their votes being counted."

In Florida, lines remained a problem with Republican Governor Rick Scott refusing to extend voting hours (even though day-of voters lean towards Romney). 

Michigan voters endured long lines too, with some people leaving polls early.

Pennsylvania's Voter ID law has caused mass confusion in the state.  Some voters were offended when asked for photo ID and others were actually turned away.
