Voters React To Obama's Reelection

As soon as Obama was proclaimed the 44th president of the United States of America, cheers and drawn out jubilant screams resounded all around the club room.
"Woo! that was my first reaction!" Glenys Quijada shouted enthusiastically while waving an Obama 2012 flag. "I am so so excited that Obama wins because we were campaigning in Nevada . . . I'm so glad. So excited and happy!"
Adriana Castaneda who works for the L.A. County Federation of Labor and was working against Prop 32 said she also worked in supporting Obama.
"We were working on saying 'no' to 32 and also supporting Obama so we worked for him 3 long months, and it's been so rewarding, I'm excited I'm part of this," Adriana Castaneda said.
One of the election party volunteers (who wished to remain anonymous) checking guests in at the door said that this was a special election:
"This is a good one. Everybody looks really happy most of these people started at 8 am with door hanging, and they've been out in the heat all day and now they come in, and they're really invigorated."
Indeed, the salon was packed, and attendees were rapturous in their excitement and support of Obama. As if to refect the voter split, the crowd were mostly young, female and minorities. Of particular mention were the great number of Hispanics who were the most vocal the entire night and were often the ones leading the chants of "Four more years" and "Si se puede", whooping in joy whenever Obama came on the screen.
Apart from an open bar, hot dogs and fresh baked cookies for all attendees, there was also a PhotoBooth outside where party attendees could have fun taking photos.
