Top Shopping Spots In The Valley
Often overshadowed by neighboring Los Angeles and its trendy subsections, the Valley isn't exactly thought of as a prime shopping destination. But, don't rule it out yet; cities like Pasadena, Studio City, and Calabasas have a lot to offer with their small trendy boutiqes and vintage havens.

12144 Ventura Blvd
Studio City, CA 91604
Nestled in Calabasas, this kitschy shop sells everything from adorable housewares and novelty items to homemade lotions and costume jewelry. Reminiscent of a boutique you’d find in Silverlake or Echo Park, it’s trendy and unique with a decent stockpile of vintage and handmade wares. The Yelp deal—$25 for $40—isn’t too bad either.

Sway
The best part about this Pasadena boutique is probably the wide selection of cheap shoes. From vegan leather ankle booties and snakeskin platforms to studded loafers and sequined oxfords, the variety is unparalled in just about any other small brick and mortar store. That's not to knock the clothing, though; most of it can be found at the typical mall haunt, but half the price. If the lure of online shopping calls to you, check out their website; it's well-stocked with a great a sale section.

Pasadena, CA 91105
B.Luu
Leaning towards the expensive side, B.Luu stocks the likes of Ella Moss, Dolce Vita, and Wildfox, among many others. You'll find a few unique pieces throughout the Pasadena store amongst the flurry of designer jeans and high-quality Michael Stars basics. It's not as trendy as LF or Kitson, but it won't disappoint.
