'Tis the season for holiday snacks, so embrace this holiday season with special treats and entrées from an eatery near you! Craving that seasonal pumpkin spice snack or eggnog drink? Here is a list of popular seasonal favorites you can sip or sink your teeth into.

Meals

From Oct. 18, Burger King introduced three new seasonal menu items: Cinnabon Minibon Rolls, the Gingerbread Cookie Sundae and the Gingerbread Cookie Shake. Cinnabon Minibon Rolls are baked fresh daily and are topped with creamy, rich frosting. The Gingerbread Cookie Sundae features a blend of creamy vanilla soft serve with a swirl of sweet gingerbread sauce and adorned with crispy, gingersnap cookie crumbs. The Gingerbread Cookie Shake is a blend of vanilla soft serve and sweet gingerbread syrup, finished with a whipped topping and gingersnap crumbles.

IHOP, known for its extensive pancake menu, brings its Flavored Hot Chocolate, Pumpkin Pancakes and Carrot Cake Pancakes to the table this holiday season. These three items, among others, are a part of the restaurant’s featured items this fall. The Flavored Hot Chocolate includes your choice of Caramel or Gingerbread. The Pumpkin Pancakes are made from pumpkin and spices and finished with a creamy whipped topping, while the Carrot Cake Pancakes comprise oatmeal spice pancakes with an apples-and-raisin filling.

Beverages

Nov. 1 rings in the start of the holiday season for Starbucks, which starts featuring its drinks in red cups from this date. Holiday drinks include the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino Blended Beverage.

Seattle’s Best Coffee is featuring similar hot drinks this holiday season, including a Gingerbread Latte, Candy Cane Mocha and Sugar Cookie Latte.

Known for its healthy, fruity concoctions, Jamba Juice is featuring items like its Pumpkin Smash Smoothie, Eggnog Jubilee Smoothie, Great Pumpkin Swirl Whirl’n and The Chillbuster this holiday season. Jamba’s Eggnog Jubilee Smoothie celebrates traditional holiday flavor and the Pumpkin Smash Smoothie includes a mix of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and creamy frozen yogurt. The Great Pumpkin Swirl Whirl’n is a blend of vanilla frozen yogurt, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg, while The Chillbuster is a hot mixture of organic and cider spices.

Red Robin provides seasonal shakes that will satisfy both kids’ and adults’ palettes. The restaurant’s Gingerbread Shake is a thick milkshake blended with graham cracker crumbs and adorned with a gingersnap cookie, while the Winter Beer Shake features a blend of Samuel Adams Winter Lager, cinnamon and a touch of citrus.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewery, famous for its deep-dish pizza and wide-ranging selection of alcohol, is featuring its Pumpkin Ale. This spiced beer exudes the taste and aroma of pumpkin pie… down to its color.

Snacks

Sprinkles Cupcakes is serving up its EAT Box from Nov. 16-25 to commemorate Thanksgiving. This box features customer favorites like Red Velvet and Dark Chocolate, as well as seasonal Orange Cranberry and Pumpkin cupcakes. Turkey and maple leaf sugar decorations replace the trademark Sprinkles dot on the EAT Box cupcakes.

Crumbs Bake Shop has its own twist on holiday cupcakes, portrayed through its Thanksgiving Collection. This special collection comprises Crumbs’ traditional Red Velvet Delicious, plus flavors like Candy Caramel Apple, Harvest Pumpkin, Pumpkin Patch, Sunflower and The Squirrel. Most notable in this batch is The Squirrel, a spice cake topped with vanilla cinnamon cream cheese frosting and adored with chocolate drops on sable cookies.

The Starbucks bakery also provides a variety of fall and holiday treats, including its Cranberry Bliss Bar, Grandma’s Turkey Sandwich, Frosted Snowman Cookie, Holiday Gingerbread and Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop.

Frozen Treats

While turkeys are usually found at the center of the dinner table as the main course, Baskin-Robbins offers a sweet twist on turkey … as a dessert. Baskin-Robbins’ Turkey Cake allows customers to choose their favorite ice cream flavor as the cake’s center, then the cake is glazed over with sweet toppings and even features sugar cone turkey legs. Don’t want the whole cake? You can order an individual “Turkey Leg” … which is really a clever disguise for your favorite ice cream flavor covered in a caramel glaze and topped with a sugar cone.

Nothing says “happy holidays” as much as Coldstone Creamery’s Dark Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream. This decadent flavor comprises a blend of dark chocolate peppermint ice cream, fudge, whipped topping and Oreo cookies. Coldstone is also featuring its Holly Jolly Peppermint Cake, which includes the Dark Peppermint Ice Cream and candy cane pieces sandwiched between layers of moist red velvet cake. The cake is wrapped with a fudge ganache and is topped with chocolate shavings.

With flavors like “Lychee Tart” and “Double Cookies & Cream” as its staples, Yogurtland is featuring its “Cinnamon Roll” and “Pumpkin Pie” flavors to celebrate the holiday season. Not to be outdone, Menchie’s has added “Eggnog,” “Gingerbread Man,” “Angel Food Cake,” “Pumpkin,” “Peppermint Candy” and “Apple Pie” to the mix

All holiday treats are featured at various locations for a limited time only.
