Takano Leads Over Tavaglione In 41st Congressional District

The tightly contested 41st Congressional District race in Riverside County pitted gay, Asian community college trustee Mark Takano against long-time County Supervisor John Tavaglione. As of Tuesday night, the outcome of the race is unclear but in a district which has undergone dramatic changes in the past decade, the assumption that this was a solid Republican seat in Washington can no longer be taken for granted.  On assignment for Neon Tommy, California State University, Los Angeles reporter C.J. Tuttle caught some election night atmosphere in both camps.
