SEIU Members Canvas In Nevada
NEVADA--A day before voters will be heading to the polls and volunteers from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Nevada are making the final push to inform Las Vegas voters.
Angel Rangel and Sandy Layton spent this morning canvassing homes in the City of Henderson, a Clark County suburb southeast of Las Vegas. Rangel, who knocked on 116 doors yesterday with her team, came to finish the job and make sure supporters of President Obama hit their registered polling locations before they close at 7pm tomorrow.
"I start by asking them if they have work tomorrow," Rangel said. "I do that because I want them to start mentally planning their day from start to finish and I want voting to be a part of that plan."
