This week’s episode of "Scandal" was a complete shocker, my jaw has yet to come off the ground! It started off with Olivia and her associates tackling a case of a billionaire gone wild after he abruptly leaves his wife of over 40 years and abandoned the business he built from the ground up. His family has contacted Olivia in attempts to bring him back to sanity. Nothing went according to plan as a weird series of events started to occur. The billionaire seemed to want to sabotage his family by any means possible. He even went as far as marrying a woman 10 years younger than his son in order to take away any legal rights his family has. In the end, one of Olivia’s top associates took charge and had the two sides come to a truce.

But that was only the beginning. President Fitz is back in town after a three week foreign policy tour. With Fitz being around, the question remained - will Olivia and Fitz remain broken up? All indications pointed to yes. While Fitz was away Olivia did not sit home with a pint of ice cream, she moved on and is now seriously dating a past flame, and things are certainly heating up for the two. As for the president and the first lady, things were still ice cold, every moment they spent together seemed to be agonizing for the both of them.

Since we are talking about relationships, one that has been getting more attention is the relationship between Cyrus and his husband James, who is a journalist covering the White House. With the help of David Rosen, the district attorney that is set on bringing Olivia Pope down, James uncovered what seems to be the biggest scandal of them all - the rigging of the presidential election. James was treading cautiously due to his husband's close relationship with the president.

As crazy as it might seem that was not the biggest shocker of the night. President Fitz was turning 50 years old and his wife threw a big gala in his honor. As they arrived at the event Millie suddenly didn't want to attend, which is odd because it was her idea in the first place. Fitz paid her no mind and exited the limo. Just as the first couple walked up the red carpet to enter the festivities, a shot rang out, and Fitz fell to the ground. The president has been shot! His status is unknown, and we are left wondering if he will survive. Next week promises to be a thriller, we may find out who shot Fitz! "Scandal" has done it again yet another twist in the story. Now comes the hard part, waiting for next week’s episode, see you then!
