California may be a blue state but many of its constituents are conservative Republicans. From a small business owner in Woodland Hills to a college professor in Thousand Oaks and an election day communion, see how fatih and politics play out for the minority party in suburban Los Angeles.

California Lutheran University kept an eye on their "first allegiance" by offering an election day communion service.

Dr. Penny Cefola is an English professor at California Lutheran University. She voted for Mitt Romney because she thinks national politics has become too divisive during Obama's tenure in office. As for ballot propositions, she voted for Prop. 30. Find out why below.

Josh Aleck, a small business owner in Woodland Hills, voted for Romney as well. He said Barack Obama is "unqualified" to serve as commander and chief. He also blamed Obama for the deadlcok between the parties on Capitol Hill.
