With 6 percent of precincts reporting, here are where the ballot measures stand, according to Around the Capitol at 8:27 p.m.

Proposition 30, which would temporarily increase taxes to fund education:
Yes: 48.8 percent
No: 51.2 percent

Proposition 31, which would change the state budget process:
Yes: 42.1 percent
No: 57.9 percent

Proposition 32, which would prohibit unions using payroll deductions for political contributions:
Yes: 48.1 percent
No: 51.9 percent

Proposition 33, which would allow auto insurance companies to set prices based on the driver's history:
Yes: 48 percent
No: 52 percent

Proposition 34, which would repeal the death penalty:
Yes: 83.3 percent
No: 16. percent

Proposition 35, which would increase penalties for sex trafficking:
Yes: 83.3 percent
No: 16.7 percent

Proposition 36, which would alter the three strikes law:
Yes: 68.7 percent
No: 31.3 percent

Proposition 37, which would require the labeling of genetically engineered foods:
