David Balkan, USC School of Cinematic Arts professor and former screenwriter and executive producer, said voting is a privilege that gives citizens the power to bring about change in the country.

Balkan lives in Beverly Hills and has been voting since he was 18 years old. On Election Day, he was found voting at the Beverly Hills Civic Center.
