Alas, one of Hollywood’s hottest young couples is officially over: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have called it quits, citing busy schedules as the reason for their breakup. In a recent interview, Justin even stated, “I don’t know what’s going on with my life.” As we mourn their heart-wrenching parting, one can only wonder, what’s in store for these two starlets? Or, more specifically, who’s in store for them? Well, we have a few possibilities we feel should be considered…

Justin Bieber’s Future Lady?

- Barbara Palvin

Despite being accused as the real reason behind Jelena’s breakup, Barbara has been insisting through Twitter that nothing is going on between her and Justin. Sure, so she says. But the two have been hanging out together and rumors continue to fly. We can imagine Justin would not mind dating a Victoria’s Secret Angel, though.
 
- Kendall Jenner

Kendall and Justin are actually almost the same age and thus on the same wavelength as far as maturity level and life experience. The two would definitely make an interesting power couple. Wouldn’t it be adorable if the pair went double-dating, say, with Kanye and Kim?
 
- Lucy Hale

Never mind that she’s 23 and he’s 18 and this would mean another cougar relationship - these two would be so cute! Lucy is an amazing actress, just like Selena, but she’s a touch more mature and would provide Justin with experience his last relationship needed.

 
Selena Gomez’s Future Beau?

He’s a hunk; she’s a beauty. They obviously photograph well together. Josh seems like a good compliment to Selena. He even has a hint of David Henrie in him, without the “brother” part to make things awkward.

When Gregg Sulkin posted that picture of him and Selena “enjoying Italy,” it was a blatant cry for attention. The two have been getting friendly on the set of their show “Wizards of Waverly Place” and we can’t help but notice how cute they look together. Could he end up being Selena’s rebound?
 
- Justin Bieber

…Because, let’s face it, we already sorta’ kinda’ miss Jelena. There was just something so endearing about the pair and they seemed to fit together so well. If they really did decide to cut ties solely because of their conflicting schedules, perhaps reconciliation is still possible (once things have settled for both of them).
