Israel Plans To Expand Attack

While President Barack Obama urged Israeli leaders Sunday to look to resolving the Gaza Strip conflict with as little military action as possible, Israel said that they're looking to expand their offensive against Palestinian forces.

"We are exacting a heavy price from Hamas and the terrorist organizations and the Israel Defense Forces are prepared for a significant expansion of the operation," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Reuters.

Israel and Hamas have traded airstrikes in the last five days, with at least 51 Palestinians and three Israelis killed.
