Rice met with two Republican Senators Wednesday so she could explain herself and listen to concerns, but she failed to win them over, reported Bloomberg.

The CIA admitted Tuesday to changing talking points given to Rice before she spoke on TV about the attack, said Reuters.

Obama has not disclosed whether he favors Rice as Hilary Clinton’s predecessor as Secretary of State, but he said he believe she has done a good job thus far.
