African Leaders Meet To Discuss Crisis In Congo
Central African leaders have gathered to discuss a potential resolution to the current rebel crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rwandan president Paul Kagame, however, will not attend. He has instead sent his foreign minister.
A rebel group in the Congo, M23, advanced against the Congolese army to take control of the city of Goma last week. M23 continues to clash, now fighting over the town of Sake.
The Democratic Republic of Congo has accused Rwanda and Uganda of supporting M23.
