Dimmed lights, signature photo booths and elegant glasses filled with new Absolut Sparkling Fusion Tune?  These are all common elements in the life of a LA socialite, but for me, last night on November 15th, I got my fair share of being a socialite at Absolut Sparkling Fusion Tune’s Launch Party.

Absolut launched a new sparkling wine, which they sampled to many of the guests.  From what I witnessed, many of the guests were pleased with the new drink and kept coming back for more (or had a particular taste for free alcohol). Along with the drinks, they distributed gourmet finger food. Samples included tomatoes and cheese sautéed in basil and pumpkin mini cakes, which were all delicious!

Who was there to be seen? Actress Taryn Manning made a guest appearance as DJ and singer onstage as well as former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, who was found in the crowd dancing. Sutta seemed to be having quite a ball there!

As the night continued, the event dwindled and outsiders entered the exclusive area to continue partying in place of the socialites and elite. All in all, Absolut has yet to see whether its new sparkling wine will find its way to people’s glasses to drink, but I do not think that will be difficult considering the amount of money it threw for such an elaborate party. I suppose it is safe to say that Absolut can look at it from a glass half full perspective and hope that the glass half-filled has Absolute in it.
