Country/Pop princess Taylor Swift signed a multi-year deal with Keds to serve as brand ambassador, trading in her cowboy boots and high heels for a pair of sneakers that will match perfectly with her new album, “Red.

When it comes to style and class, Taylor Swift never disappoints. Now the 22-year-old grammy winner has her very own Keds sneaker and even signed a three-year deal with the company as brand ambassador. The new “Red” sneaker will help promote the company as well as the release of her new album, both in stores Oct. 22.

According to Keds, Swift “embodies the Keds spirit, style, and sensibility.” Rick Blackshaw, president of Keds, says Swift will serve as their “North Star” helping with production and brand promotion. She’ll even take part in a monthly giveaway of 13 (her lucky number) pairs of shoes.

Taylor says she grew up wearing the brand. "I'm so excited to be partnering with Keds®," said Swift. "I've been a fan of Keds® for years because they have two of my favorite elements of great style – they're classic and effortless.

The Keds Red Champion Sneaker will be priced at $50 and can be purchased on Taylor’s website or in stores like Keds,  Nordstrom, or Journeys.
