This week's episode of "Saturday Night Live" featured British actor Daniel Craig as the host, while promoting his new 007 film Skyfall out in theaters November 8th, alongside musical guest Muse, also promoting the release of their new album, The 2nd Law. A good half of the episode recapped the presidential debate that took place over last week while the rest of the shorts were mostly centered around Craig's somewhat awkward attempt at comedic acting. Here's a rundown of best and worst sketches from last week's episode.

YAYS

Working Class Drama

A spoof of a typical BBC show about a dejected lot of blue-collared workers talking about their everyday struggles. I personally loved English Bill Hader! He brought the true sad-sack English man attitude and everything he said just seemed 10 times funnier because of that. Plus we get to see Craig go full out on his Brit accent too! Watch it here.

Construction Workers

Daniel Craig plays a construction workers who can't for the life of him check out girls without making an overly lewd remark about them. He can't seem to make the right jokes like the other lads do and just ends up saying God awful things that might make us shudder a little. But there was something about the clueless expression Craig had on his face through the entire sketch that made him seem innocent almost cute in a child-like way. Watch it here.

Weekend Update: Big Bird

I don't think this one needs any further explanation. It's really Big Bird himself! Romney would be so very pleased with this guest appearance. Watch it here.

NAYS

Mars Mission

There was absolutely nothing in this skit that was the slightest bit likable or even remotely funny. Bobby Moynihan's character of the socially awkward geek was way too overplayed. I got so sick of hearing "I miss my wittle kitty cat" after the 5th time that I strongly considered switching channels at that point. Not even an appearance from the cute wittle kitty itself at the end could salvage anything from this skit. Watch it here.

Loving Couple

I think it's clear from this that Fred and Daniel do not make a good couple. I felt awkward from when the sketch started and just ended feeling plain disgust from watching Armisen's role as the overly affectionate girlfriend. The very minute he started spreading his legs out mid-air in front of the cameria, I was only hoping for the show to cut to commercials ASAP. Watch it here.

Weekend Update: Cecilia Giminez

Vanessa Bayer's fake Spanish accent and bad imitation here were nothing worth laughing about. Her jokes were going no where the entire time and the only thing that worked was the last bit when she pulled out a "restored" painting of Seth Meyers looking like an ape. That gave me a chuckle. And Cecilia, you vannta yor mahney? No. You're not getting it. Watch it here.

Buzz

Craig Gillespie directed this true story about "the most daring rescue mission in the history of the U.S. Coast Guard.”
