The Tournament of Roses unveiled the Royal Court for the 2013 Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game Monday.

The lucky seven young ladies are:

Kathryne Benuska, 17, Maranatha High School

Tracy Cresta, 17, La Salle High School

Vanessa Manjarrez, 17, Mayfield Senior School

Victoria McGregor, 17, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy

Nicole Nelam, 17, Pasadena High School

Sonia Shenoi, 17, San Marino High School

Madison Teoeo, 17, La Canada High School

Pasadena Star News repored the Royal Court members were selected from a pool of 33 finalists who came from around the region.

Some of the perks of being on the Royal Court include riding in the Rose Parade, leadership roles in community service, and the best seats in the house at game time.

Hopefuls that applied to preside over the 124th Tournament of Roses Parade held on New Year’s Day totaled 900.

The Rose Queen will be chosen from among the Royal Court on Oct. 16.

The theme of this year’s Rose Parade is “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” based on the Dr. Seuss book.
