The Romney campaign launched one of its biggest ad buys so far Tuesday, purchasing $12 million in television ads that will air over the next six days.

The ads will air in nine states starting Wednesday, just one day after the second presidential debate. Romney's camp continues to focus on battleground states, spending the most money in Ohio, Virginia and Florida.

After pulling in $170 million last month, the Romney campaign has set aside $83 million for advertising alone, concentrating the barrage of ads in 10 states.

As the election winds down, the Romney camp is expected to increase its spending on advertising, going off of advisers' claims that the election will be decided in the final days before the race.
