Romney Pulls Ahead Of Obama With Likely Voters, Poll Reports

The poll found Romney’s supporters to be much more engaged than in September, with 82 percent of supporters saying they’ve given “a lot of thought” to the election. Obama’s supporters have dropped two points, to 67 percent, in this area.
Romney has also made huge strides with women voters, white non-Hispanics and voters under 50. Women are evenly divided between the two candidates, a sharp increase for Romney, who trailed Obama by 18 points last month.

Among registered voters, Mitt Romney has drawn even with President Obama for the first time in a year. After Romney’s strong showing at the Oct. 3 debate, 46 percent of registered voters support Romney, with the same percentage of registered voters endorsing Obama.
After the debate, voters believed Romney performed better three-to-one. Romney’s personal image among voters has also improved since the debate, hitting 50 percent for the first time. Obama’s personal favorability rating has fallen 6 percent, to 49 percent.
