Since mid-September, the duo, along with an eight-piece brass band, keyboardist and drummer, have been on a whirlwind cross-country tour, with its last leg in Southern California.
Byrne and Clark will grace the stage tonight at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, a non-profit arts organization and institution, tucked away in Costa Mesa, Orange County. While the Segerstrom might be an unconventional setting for a rock concert, it is only fitting for this unconventional duo.
The pair is set to perform tracks from “Love This Giant,” a collaborative songwriting effort that took two years in the making, as well as some crowd favorites from each musician’s career span.
