President Barack Obama will hold his election rally at a secure location in Chicago

The event will trade the exciting atmosphere of the 2008 outdoor rally in Grant Park for a smaller venue with higher security, said the Huffington Post.

McCormick Place was the site of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit in May, which was designed for security puroposes by the Department of Homeland Security.

Ticketing information for the event has not been announced. However, the event is expected to quickly fill up, reported the Post
