Politicians continue to question the Obama administration's handling of the Benghazi attacks. Despite Mitt Romney blundering his criticism in Tuesday's debate, the Romney campaign is attacking Obama for the deaths of four Americans in Libya.

Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan led the criticism, saying that Obama's foreign policy is falling apart, and the Benghazi attack, where Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed, is the clearest example.

Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee is looking into why intelligence agencies played down the terrorist aspect in the Benghazi attack. The office Director of National Intelligence later officially ruled the attack as terrorism, but not before some reports suggested that it sprang out of protests against an anti-Islamic film.

Ahmed Abu Khattala, the suspected leader of the militants in the consulate attack, has dismissed the threat of American and Libyan retaliation. According to the New York Times, he said the Libyan national army is essentially a joke. He also called out both parties in the United States for politicizing the consulate attack.
