Rep. Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden had their own chance to debate Thursday. Along with debate moderator Martha Raddatz, the two vice presidential candidates whipped up enough rhetoric and dialog to stimulate discussion across the nation. 

All three parties avowed to laying facts on the table. Nevertheless, the conversation occasionally degenerated into merely overlapping exclamations.

Biden showcased his ability to pontificate with dramatic gesticulation. The tight-lipped Republican candidate uttered a few evocative statements, including the unique and memorable: “Oh gosh, yes. Urinating on Taliban corpses?”
