After five years of dating, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have finally tied the knot.

The longtime couple married in a Southern Italy location early Friday after being engaged since last December. They have been inseparable ever since JT proposed to Biel with a custom-designed ring at Big Sky Montana, an annual vacation spot of theirs.

"It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple told People. 

Earlier this week, Timberlake and Biel prepped for their Italian wedding by hosting a beach party and a dinner. On Wednesday, the couple and 50 family and friends celebrated with fireworks and live music at the Cala Masciola beach on the Adriatic Sea, in Puglia, Italy. The night before the nuptials, the couple hosted a party where guests dined on fresh-made cheese, local olives and wine. Guests included Andy Samberg, Timbaland, "7th Heaven's" Beverly Mitchell, and music manager Johnny Wright. 

They couple had previously split in March 2011, but were spotted together again that September.

The actor-musician recently said of his bride, "She's a really, really, really special person."
