"Glee’s" much-anticipated episode, “The Break-Up,” was emotional, heartfelt, and overly-dramatic. It was everything that "Glee" is now known for, and it exceeded expectations in these life-altering (or plot-altering) moments. Here are three of the must-see scenes from Thursday night’s episode, each representing one of the three break-ups.

1.    Rachel’s duet with Brody in the piano bar
As we saw Finn’s relationship with Rachel crumbling under the pressure of distance, the producers rewarded us with a few precious moments from Brachel. That’s right—these two are the next big thing. Though I have been a fan of Finchel from the start, I agree with Rachel -it’s time for those two to develop their lives on their own. For now, Boy Toy Brody will soothe her aching heart. His smoldering eyes and bad boy confidence make him easy to root for. I do have to admit that my heart went out to poor Finn when they panned to him during the duet, though. He’s got to find his place!

2.    Blaine’s performance of “Teenage Dream”
Blaine somehow managed to give a whole new life to the tired Katy Perry mega-hit, “Teenage Dream.” I liked it even better than the original Warbler edition. His emotional performance was raw and beautiful, and the song choice could not have been more perfect for this moment. The lyrics were especially resonant. I have to admit, I teared up.

3.    Santana’s rendition of “Mine”
It took me until about halfway through the song to realize that Santana was performing a Taylor Swift song, and even after that, it was hard to wrap my mind around. Her sultry voice contrasted well with the pure, innocent lyrics of T-Swift’s creation, making the third break up of the episode equally as emotive as the other two. Naya Rivera might just have my favorite voice of the cast.
