Georgia May Jagger Chosen For Vivienne Westwood Campaign

The model has been chosen to be the face of Vivienne Westwood’s fine metal jewelry line, the Gainsborough Palladium jewelry collection. The campaign for the collection, shot by Juergen Teller, will launch in November.
The jewelry collection was shown at Westwood’s Gold Label spring 2013 runway show at Paris Fashion Week. It will become available in mid-October on VivienneWestwood.com and in Westwood’s U.K. stores.
Pieces include filigree-style necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings, all delicately crafted in the white precious metal, palladium. The prices vary from about U.S. $404 to $1,262, according to WWD.
Also included in the line is a three-piece couture collection. Each item will be made-to-order.
The collection is the result of a partnership between Westwood and the International Palladium board. While this collaboration began last year, Westwood and Jagger have, in a sense, always been partners: Jagger tells FashionWeekDaily.com that growing up, Westwood made her an outfit after the young and “sassy” model-to-be had complained of not owning one of her dresses.
