President Barack Obama's website now features a subtle, but noticeable twist to his campaign slogan "Forward." In what seems to be an effort to reach out to more women voters, an equal sign has now been drawn into the graphic's "w" to emphasize the campaign's support of equal pay for women.

The slogan, when clicked, automatically redirects the reader to a campaign page detailing Obama's support of women's issues during his presidency.

The first feature on the page is a video of woman's rights activist Lilly Ledbetter explaining equal pay legislation that bears her name. It was signed into law by Obama during his first term.

Below the video, the website writes, "[Obama] understands that when women are paid less than men for the same work, it hurts the entire family."

The slogan's new adaptation is another sign of how women's issues have taken center stage in the presidential campaign, the Washington Post reported.

According the Huffington Post, though, the focus on women's issues should not be surprising. According to an AP-GfK survey taken mid-September, 8 percent of all likely voters were women who were either undecided or said they might change their minds.
