After a car bomb killed a top security official as well as seven other people in Beirut, protesters displayed anger as they took to the streets, demanding “justice and revenge.”

They burned tires and set up roadblocks throughout Lebanon. In one instance, the Lebanese army opened fire on a group of people blocking a road in eastern Lebanon.

Security forces in Lebanon are attempting to keep the situation under control. Meanwhile, Beirut is quiet.
