Jennifer Aniston isn’t the only one showing off new bling this week. Blake Lively debuted her giant wedding ring on Wednesday night at Chanel Fine Jewelry’s celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Bijoux De Diamants Collection in New York City. This was the first red carpet appearance for the “Gossip Girl” actress since her secret wedding to her “Green Lantern” co-star Ryan Reynolds in September. Reynolds also attended the event but arrived separate from his wife, meeting her inside later.

The couple kept their relationship under-wraps from the engagement to the wedding itself, which was an intimate ceremony held on a plantation in South Carolina, the same one “The Notebook” was filmed on. And of course to complete the fairy tale wedding there had to be the perfect wedding ring.

“Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond,” a spokesperson for the jeweler told People magazine.

Donning a silver and pink Chanel gown and Louboutin heels at Wednesday’s event to complement the stunning gem, Lively seemed to be loving the married life, gushing to Us Weekly that “Life is great!” With a gorgeous ring and a hunky husband, this doesn’t come as a surprise.
