The show immediately started with full force by opening with acts like Danny Brown who not only rocked the stage with his quirky and catchy rhymes but also rocked his 80's throwback zip up jacket, his half shaved hairstyle due and of course his memorable missing teeth. 

He had the entire crowd jumping up and down with tunes like, “I’m the black Brad Pitt.” After his act the audience was even more desperate to see A$AP because everyone knew it was going to be a great show.

After Danny Brown ended his set Schoolboy Q, who was also coincidently celebrating his birthday last night, came out. Throughout the concert all the acts were wishing their hip-hop brother a happy birthday. 

Schoolboy Q surprised the crowd when he brought out his label mate, Kendrick Lamar.

Fans were out of control when Lamar came out and everyone cheered the Compton rapper who recently released his debut album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city.” He rapped, “Backseat Freestyle,” a song from his new album where he brilliantly paints a perfect picture of his not so perfect life growing up in the streets of Compton. 

Then finally, A$AP Rocky comes out rapping songs from his, “LiveLoveA$AP” album like, “Purple Kisses,” and “Brand New Guy,” featuring birthday boy Schoolboy Q.  

Fans were bobbing their heads to his “purple weed” and “purple drank” lyrics that he references in many of his songs.

He had an entire mob on stage with him—literally, A$AP Mob, the hip-hop collective he’s also a member of. 

We all love A$AP’s trademark trilla beats adopted from slang and trademarks of the Texas city, Houston. However, we all were expecting A$AP to come out with one of his new songs of his album, “LongLiveA$AP,” which is being released this Wednesday on Halloween. 

A$AP gave an amazing show but since Lamar was there, who is featured on one of A$AP’s new songs that already leaked online, “F*cking Problem,” we all hoped he would at least rap that song, but he didn’t.

He ended his set with his famous tune, “Peso,” and left us all hanging with wanting to hear at least one of his new songs.

Oddly A$AP hardly even mentioned his new album. Actually this writer doesn't remember him referencing it at all. One would think that he would promote the heck out of it, but maybe he doesn’t need to, betting that his fans will be hitting the stores for the new CD after they finish trick-or-treating.
