celebrates the horror genre’s top contributors.

Recipients of awards this year included filmmaker Guillermo del Toro (“Pan’s Labyrinth,” “Hellboy,” and the upcoming film “Mama”), actor Chad Michael Murray (“House of Wax”), as well as the NBC show “Grimm.”

Legendary rocker Alice Cooper, known for his horror-themed stage theatrics, also made an appearance to celebrate the opening of the newest maze and his namesake at the park, “Alice Cooper Goes to Hell 3D.” Other mazes featured this year include AMC’s “The Walking Dead: Dead Inside,” “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Saw is the Law,” and “Welcome to Silent Hill,” among others. Also featured at the park are numerous horror shows and rides, as well as “Scare Zones” where “scare-actors” will be on prowl for unsuspecting guests.

“Halloween Horror Nights” is open now and continues on select nights through October 31st.  Event tickets and information can be found here.
