Sarah-Jane Clark and Heidi Middleton created a black and white collection for their Spring 2013 show. This season, the colours were stark and the structure had a touch of masculinity. Solid gold as well as silver sequins were used as embellishments and stood out against the plain colours. Some outfits even had flowers that were added to the neckline and waist to make the look more feminine.

The hair and make up was also kept simple, with hair tied back in buns and fresh dewy skin. Open toed tie up boots were the only accessory.

Overall, the Spring collection can be described as restrained minimalist and the designer duo aptly defined it as 'traditional modernist'.
