The candidates reveal new campaign commercials during three-day battle.President Barak Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney released their new campaign ads Thursday, setting the tone for another day of duel lobbying in swing states.

Romney's campaign did not say where his most commercial will be televised, but Obama's is said to air in New Hampshire, Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Nevada and Colorado.

Obama ad promotes a "new economic patriotism" he says will create a million new manufacturing jobs, cut oil imports in half and stimulate the American workforce through education.  Taking a broader approach to the economic argument, Obama uses the two-minute ad to promote his view of fostering a strong middle class.

Romney's campaign ad, released Thursday, takes a narrow angle in confronting a statement made by the President in 2008 about coal mining plants.  The ad entitled "Bankrupt," in its brevity, repeats a clip of Obama saying, "If somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant they can.  It's just that it will bankrupt them."

Obama's comments made in Jan. 2008 come from his explanation of a plan he wanted to apply a cap-and-trade system to reduce greenhouse gases.  The motion failed but Republicans still believe the Obama administration is responsible for coal plants closing in the U.S.

Today marks the third straight day the two candidates are scheduled to campaign in the same state.  After a full day of dueling in the swing state of Ohio, Obama and Romney shift their focus to Virginia.

While polls indicate Obama has the lead in Virginia, other recent polls suggest the margin of error and percent of undecided voters leaves the state as an even battleground.
