The New York Times reported that on Monday, the e-book "No Easy Op" about the Osama bin Laden raid went on sale through Amazon. The book was produced by sofrep.com, a website by former commandos that specialize in Special Op news and culture.

According to the website

“This eBook breaks down the cause and effect that comes with the release of the controversial book 'No Easy Day', and includes new insider information that has never been previously released to the media."

The New York Times was able to get an early look at the book and explains that it mostly took a supportive stance towards Matt Bissonnette, calling him an "operator's operator" and saying that it is highly unlikely he released classified information - the Pentagon has recently threatened to sue Bissonnette because of this claim. The authors also explained that Bissonnette is breaking the code of silence in retaliation for being "pushed out of SEAL Team 6 after he expressed interest in leaving the Navy and starting a business."

Apart from this, the NYT reported, and a few extra details regarding Seal Team 6, the book zeroed in on the differences between each special force team (The Rangers, SEALS and Delta Force, for example).

The book can be bought here.
