The NFL referees approved a new eight-year contract Saturday. The vote was 112-5, and with that the lockout ended.

They met on Friday to go over the contract, a process that took an hour and a half, and then they met again on Saturday to deliberate for another half an hour before finally approving it.

Their salaries will increase over the next eight years, and retain their current pension plans.

The referees are now getting ready for their Sunday games.
